Behavioral Health Services

The HOPES Behavioral Health services add support to HOPES clients when their need stretches beyond parenting. The Behavioral Health Services provide therapy to a client by Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy ( EMDR) , Trauma- Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy ( TF-CBT), or Theraplay.

Eligibility: Parents/Grandparents/Extended Family/Primary Caregivers with children ages newborn – 5 years; Reside in El Paso County

Parents as Teachers Program

Early Childhood Services (HOPES) Parents as Teachers (PAT) program offers individual parenting classes to expectant parents and families with children from birth to age five. PAT focuses on child development and school readiness. Our team currently offers quality classes virtually up to twice per month.

Eligibility: Parents/Grandparents/Extended Family/Primary Caregivers with children ages newborn – 5 years; Reside in El Paso County

The Incredible Years Program

The most important years in a child’s development are birth to age five. Early Childhood Services (HOPES) The Incredible Years program offers group parenting classes to families that want to learn, improve, or better their parenting skills for their children.

Eligibility: Parents/Grandparents/Extended Family/Primary Caregivers with children ages newborn – 5 years; Reside in El Paso County; Can attend & participate in a class once a week

Circle of Security Parenting Program

Circle of Security Parenting is an immersive eight-week program designed to enhance the attachment bond between parents/caregivers and their child. Classes are available both in person and virtually and participants can expect incentives and light refreshments during sessions. Families enrolled in the program will have access to basic needs assistance, case management, and behavioral health support if necessary.
